How to read Veth
Every glyph is one sound. Read the line, tap a glyph, and name its letter to lock it in.
- The rail. Every glyph stands on a vertical rail. Marks hang off it at three heights: top, middle, low.
- Stops are brackets. Left of the rail is unvoiced, right is voiced. Low, middle, top are the lips, the tongue, the throat.
- Waves are soft, sliding sounds. Curls are the humming ones. Arcs that sweep open are vowels.
- A foot-bead marks a borrowed sound.
- Tap a glyph and the reading line gives you a clue. The right letter locks every matching glyph at once.
- A wrong guess costs a rung. Lose them all and the line stays shut.
